Junpyo Park joined the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as a graduate student in August 2013. During his studies, Park has worked both as a research assistant and a teaching assistant.
Park's research areas of focus include Public Finance, Behavioral Economics, Urban and Regional Economics. He has been working under the advisory of Dr. John Anderson and Dr. Eric Thompson. His current projects include examining electronic tax filing and spatial patterns of technology diffusion in the U.S., and the effect of proximity to local markets on property value in Nebraska. 
As a teaching instructor, Park has taught several principles of economics courses since Summer 2015. Currently, he is teaching Econ 212: Principles of Microeconomics to 50 undergraduate econ majors.
Park will be attending the 2018 American Economic Association Annual Meeting held in Philadelphia, PA between January 5–7, 2018. He is currently on the job market and is available for interviews during the conference with prospective employers from the public, private and government sectors.
