Attendees of the program typically have backgrounds in engineering, healthcare, information technology, supply chain, marketing and human resources.
This program is a blended offering with three-days of face-to-face sessions and seven-hours of online learning components. The online component is self-paced and covers the basics of time value of money, financial statements and Excel spreadsheets. We encourage you to review the online content before the face-to-face sessions to ensure you are comfortable with the material. You can skip the components of the online content as long as you feel comfortable with the material. Access to the online learning component is granted upon registration to maximize the time to review. Prior to the face-to-face sessions we will hold two webinars to answer any for your questions regarding the material in the online learning component. Webinars will be held on Wednesday, May 30 and Monday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m.
In the face-to-face component of the program, each day starts with breakfast at 8 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break around noon. Sessions are designed to be interactive with minimal lecturing. Interactive exercises are centered on common business issues that are relevant for various types of organizations (i.e., small/large, privately-held/publicly-traded, profit/non-profit). All materials and supplies (laptops, spreadsheet models, slides, notes, parking validation etc.) are provided. However, you are welcome to bring in your own laptop.
